About this deal

Baffle looks like someone has tried to make a Rubik's Cube out of Smarties and a camera lens, but this is one addictive game! A great puzzle, first remove the marked disc,it has a kind of star patten on it,just pop it off and away you go,for best challenge hand the puzzle to someone else and ask them to scramble it up,when they hand it back get ready for hours of twisting and sliding as you try to get all the colours back as they should be,at first the slide action might be a bit stiff but it will ease up with use,as long as you line up two rows the slide function should be straight forward,if the person who mixed it up did a good job you should be at this for quite a while. The game was played in two halves with three rounds each (later two) and the times set in each round were added together. A challenging game for all the family that is sure to test their puzzle solving skills, it makes a great birthday or Christmas gift. In 1973, the PDQ format (minus the original sponsor) was revived and altered somewhat, re-christened as Baffle, and broadcast weekday mornings on NBC. This shiny black barrel with brightly colourful smartie shaped buttons you slide around the outside of the barrel looks really fun, but in reality it's a torture device designed to give you severe arthritis in your fingers and leave you feeling extremely stressed and wanting to destroy it - but even the satisfaction of destroying it is taken away from you as its design makes it virtually indestructible unless you throw it in a fire (even then it may refuse to melt and continue to mock you with its existance underneath the ashes. The team with the lowest total elapsed time won the game, and the "civilian" contestant went on to the bonus round. The partner in the booth would shout out answers until the correct one was guessed, at which time the clock stopped, or the time limit of 60 seconds was reached. For those of you who want to turn your grey matter into great matter, this Baffle Puzzle is just the ticket to truly tremendous brainpower. The first letter of the answer had to be used, but the first three letters could not, nor could letters that appeared the same (e.

I am a classic Boggle fan and this app reproduces the basics of the game, but I don’t like the controls (tap each letter then tap submit) compared to other similar games in which you swipe words. Lots of fun for both kids and adults alike, rotate and slide the coloured buttons until they line up and match. A board game version of the show was attempted by Milton Bradley in late 1973 for a 1974 release, but the game was cancelled before it got manufactured due to the tv show’s low ratings and eventual cancellation in Spring 1974. Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections—they may also appear in recommendations and other places.PDQ, syndicated by Four Star Television, aired from September 6, 1965, to September 26, 1969, primarily on NBC- owned-and-operated stations but syndicated in markets where NBC did not own a station. The sticking of the little buttons is the thing that bothers me the most, but I’m hoping that with use perhaps whatever they are catching on will smooth out. The number of correct answers determined the value of the prize that contestant took home (the higher the number of correct words, the bigger the prize). The movement lines are | shaped, where they should be Y shaped at either end to allow for ease of transit. Thankfully you just remove one of the black lids in the ends and unscrew a small screw, and all tiles can be removed.

MGM Television, as a successor-in-interest to Filmways (which purchased the Heatter-Quigley library in the late-1960s), owns the rights to the show and any future revivals.

Each show featured a three-game "PDQ Special" match, with special prizes awarded to the contestant if the challengers won two out of three games. Remove the locking button, twist, slide and rotate each layer to ensure all the multi coloured buttons are fully mixed up, then try to align them into the same colour sequences. These two teams played a word game in which a player seated in an isolation booth attempted to guess a famous name, title, or phrase posed by their teammate who displayed letters as clues (one at a time, starting with three letters, with one of them being the first letter in the subject) on their own individual game board. When signaled by Enberg, that player would take three letters from the answer and place them on a board behind him or her where the partner in the booth could see them.
