About this deal

I liken it to going to watch Dirty Dancing the musical and your brain takes a while to readjust to it not being exactly like the movie.

It was also just so relatable, which I think is what made it so funny, because you can relate to the characters and what they’re going through. NGL, I was ready to go into full Lorena Bobbitt mode in the first part of the story… I wanted to take Dirty Dom OUT!This was an easy summer read, I think I would enjoyed it more had I been reading on a hot beach rather than a wet gloomy North West town! Add in the fact that so much of this book is a joke or a pun that it’ll make your head spin by the end. A great light hearted, entertaining read that would pull you out of any slump and brighten your mood instantly. For Cara, it's a chance to forget about her messy divorce and explosive feud with a stardom-seeking sister and Pina-Colada pickled mother.

Faced with secrets, lies, and betrayal - does it pay to be a good egg, or do bad chicks reign supreme? The book took me a while to get on board as I could not stop thinking that Cara is not Sophie and Cara husband Dom in the book is not Steve her husband. Cara has separated from her husband, and is persuaded to go on a hen do to Ibiza, what could possibly go wrong? The drama, the accidental drugs, private planes,a camp for swingers, drag Queens, hit men,are only some of what happens the girls on what should be 4 days on the lash, in the sun! No longer fun and lighthearted it turns into an action story and there are very strange and tedious links to characters met earlier. It's so vivid and engaging, you'll half expect the characters to leap off the page and join you for a cuppa. It's full of hilarious characters, cringe worthy moments so believable you wonder if it really is fiction, and a brilliant ending that left me feeling fully satisfied and also chortling. Still in a downward spiral, her friends try their best to fear her up for the mother of all hen dos. The story follows Cara, who is recently divorced from her love rat husband, and has been persuaded to join best friends Jac, Debs, and her cousin Amy on Jac’s hen do to Ibiza.
