About this deal

The Mooer Pitch Box has three settings allowing you to shift your tone in pitch and then if you want mix it with the original pitch to create harmonies, disonance or synth like micro-detuned sounds.

The pitch box from Mooer is an impressive pitch shifter featuring three different modes which range from shifting your whole signal up or down to detuning for a sort of chorus effect. In pitch shift mode, there’s a delay between your playing and the processed-sounding result, but you get used to it. I bought this pedal for the pitch shift setting to drop or raise the tuning easily and it does the job quite good. We sell a wide variety of power supplies, Diago Powerstation and Diago Micropower, Dunlop DC Brick, Guitar Man, Danelectro, Behringer and Electro Harmonix as well as a variety of Daisy Chains and Adaptors. Effects Modes: Harmony, Pitch Shift, Detune Harmony: It shifts the pitch and mixes it back with the original signal to create a rich harmonic voice. The Detune function slightly detunes the original signal by up to 40 cents, and mixes it back in to create jangly chorus-like effects. The Mooer Pitch Box is too small to fit a battery inside, therefore it can only be powered by a 9v AC adapter, but its compact size means that it won't take up much space on a pedalboard. It’s probably the feature that I use most from this pedal as it allows me to take my treble sounding flute and drop the sound down by up to two octaves.

Detune: It slightly shifts the pitch and mixes it back with the original signal to create a chorus-like effect, it rings a lot of nice spacy feeling.I have the full sized Digitech Whammy which is great but takes up too much space on a pedal board so i took a punt with this pedal. Please note the all Mooer micro series pedals must be powered by a 9V DC adapter (not supplied) as they're so economical on pedal board space you can't even fit a 9V battery in. Please note the all Mooer micro series pedals must be powered by 9V DC (not supplied) as they are too small for battery compartments! Merchant City Music Limited is a credit broker and is Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. The rotary control then selects the interval of the pitch shift, taking you all the way up – or down – two octaves. And instead of the numbers on the main dial correlating to intervals they now equate to the following. The reason it sounds so bad when the Mooer Pitch Box does it is because it keeps your original sound intact and then adds another version to it either a couple of cents sharp or flat.Credit is provided by Novuna Personal Finance, a trading style of Mitsubishi HC Capital UK PLC, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. This means that if I set the box to play a major 3rd above the note I am producing it will always play a major 3rd. Unlike digital pedals like the Boss-VE Vocal Effects Processor which has a similar feature, the Mooer PitchBox is ‘dumb’ in that it will not take the key you are playing in, into consideration. Effects Modes: Harmony, Pitch Shift, Detune Harmony: It shifts the pitch and mixes it back with the original signal to create a rich harmonic voice Pitch Shift: Outputs a precise polyphonic pitch shifting voice. When using Harmony mode my favourite intervals to work with are octaves (12 or 24 semitones) and perfect 5ths (7 semitones). These discounts are usually communicated through newsletters, which are created and managed by us with the tool "Emarsys".

The idea behind detune is that instead of it shifting your sound by entire intervals it moves it by a just a couple cents. The detune option mixes a subtle pitch shift with your original guitar tone for a spacey, ambient sound that isn’t a million miles away from a chorus or tremolo, but different enough to stand out on its own. The number going around the outside of the main dial determines the number of intervals your pitched is altered by.
