Howe’s guitar solo around the six-minute mark is pretty decent, though it again reminds me of “Soon” and runs for too long. He praised the well constructed arrangements and some "epic" lyrics in the title track and "Luminosity". None of this is a negative evaluation, because even lesser tracks on a Yes album are better than anything you will hear elsewhere.

The fact is that Mr Steve Howe, legendary guitar player is willing to keep the band alive and going strong, as this is their second release into the 2020s, some two years after 'The Quest', a record that was received positively enough. Yes recorded the album in 2022, with Sherwood and Schellen recording their respective parts in California. Another essential ingredient for capturing the full energy of a band is to have them all live on the studio floor together.

Like for its predecessor, guitarist Steve Howe resumed his role as producer, and the FAMES Orchestra in North Macedonia provided orchestral arrangements by Paul K.

A good song, Steve Howe is just as good as ever, however, I must mention one downfall of the album, and it is a MAJOR pitfall. Goeff Downs n`est pas aussi virtuose que Rick Wakeman , cela nous le savons depuis des lustres , mais assure aussi je trouve ( écoutez le live at Mesa Art Center : Fragile et Close to the Edge ). All Connected' is for sure a nod to the years when Jon Anderson was the creative force behind many of the compositions of the band, not a bad track either. Steve Howe’s still with the band, though he did have a 16-year absence from the band from 1981-1997. He said that everything that the lyrics describe actually happened, whether it was something he read about or was present at the time.Around the section where Jon sings ‘We are as the stars’ there is slide guitar in the right speaker that I think should have been lower in the mix as it seems to intrude on the vocal.
