The UK version which was given away in a promotion has a different polybag design to that released in the US.
Build: 8/10 I ranked this an 8 due to the ease of building, the pose ability, and the sturdiness of the model, it doesn't break easily. The girls toy aisles aren't our regular ball park but we occasionally like to try something different to our norm. Fortunately, it’s well-finished by the designers – there’s no random colours anywhere, and the plates generally follow the shape of the bodywork quite smoothly. The hexagonal rear of the X-wing is recreated perfectly here, complete with accurate greebling detail (included a blank dark grey gaming controller piece)!
There’s also a lot of leeway in the construction of the wings, making them quite wobbly on the final model. This is the first LEGO X-wing in which the designers have successfully replicated the hexagonal shape of the bodywork, from the cockpit section down to the nose.
As a town/CITY collector this set gives me easy access to parts and color that I dont usually have or can't easily acquire. The model looks great overall in its attack mode, bolstered by the angle of the display stand to create a dynamic-looking fighter. Playability: 10/10 It's a great little ship to swoosh, you can adjust the wings, and it looks great.
