About this deal

after they all dried, i ended putting it 6th swapping it with givenchy gentleman which smells to have a few of the same notes.

And my wife very rarely acknowledges what I'm wearing, and only asks this if she loves or hates the fragrance . To me is very cold marine, not a beachy scent but one for northern cold marine activities or chic encounters. Then it gets woodier, pine-cypress becomes obvious and the citrus fades a bit, this cypress note is really well made and never gets dull or boring in the deep drydown because the rosemary is still there, giving its effervescence and its spiciness, accompanied with some juniper, cedar. It's a very well blended fragrance in that I can't distinctly pick up on specific notes, except I do kind of smell the rosemary. I say this because, in my opinion, L'Eau Bleue d'Issey Pour Homme by Issey Miyake definitely smells like the color blue, when I apply it, the color immediately comes to mind, and if that color has an aroma, this aroma is the mixture well-organized and polite blend of citrus in the form of tea, and for hours in the form of refreshments with plenty of ice, plus the aromatization of fresh Rosemary branches with more harsh Juniper berries, which adorn the fragrances that are in the composition, bringing that aromatic characteristic maximum when combined with acidic fruits.

Issey Miyake havent failed even if projection by some people isnt great couse in the end this is blue fragrance with his own twist and in same time great sommer night scent which is done in Isseys way , and that makes him great and memorable ! When I first sniff it, I felt that I was in a dense forest full of coniferous trees, cypresses, pines, cedars and oakmoss after heavy rain. The problem is this is so strong even in the dry down that I had to wash my clothes and have a shower to get the dry down smell off.

Those who have already read my first review will remember, I am currently in a boarding school in England. The piece sounds modern and yet somehow archaic, not clearly in major or minor: a floating, yet expressive melody, equally captivating and restrained. Ultimately you end up with a brilliant arrangement of cypress, rosemary and juniper berries being front and center, while citruses, spices, amber, and woods play a supporting role; all perfectly orchestrated in the drydown, resulting in this creatively smooth "masterpiece". As soon as I sprayed it I got hit with a pineish smell then it changed to a aquatic citrus as soon as I smelled it.The combination of lime and woods is perfectly amenable, but unremarkable, and longevity is disappointing. This fragrance smells oddly like a spicerack on a shed in the middle of a forest full of cypress trees during the rain.

My brother loves this scent and I wanted to get him this since so long however, it gives all of us a headache whenever he wears it and he also complains of it becoming soapy after a while. The sad thing is that I love Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey and this is the DNA I expected to find in Bleu Astral and Intense. It gets a bit rosier and woodier into its dry down, with the herbaceous quality persisting into its dry down, muskier, earthier, patchouli and cedar most prominent in the base. When I wear Bleu d'Issey, I bask in this delicious mournfulness, like listening to a Chopin Etude in some remote, minor key.
