About this deal

For western world he has given an insight , how Pakistan has been repeatedly used by the west and by the elites of the country for their own gains at the terrible cost of the country and her people.

I had read Javed Miandad’s Cutting Edge where he reflected his cricketing career and dirty games played behind the scenes. Imran Khan’s books are a testament to his multifaceted personality and his commitment to transforming Pakistan. Let There Be Justice: The Political Journey of Imran Khan is an intriguing story of Imran Khan’s populist politics, his verve and unfettered commitment which may eventually swing him into power at the next general elections in 2018. For too long, Pakistan has been destroyed by people who don’t need politics…and its main problem has been institutional collapse. Many of the incidents and quotations have been picked from various books including Imran’s The Autobiography, All-Round View and Indus Journey, plus various books written on/by Botham, Miandad, Atherton, Sobers and Parvez Musharraf. Mind you, Khan says he never gambled in his life till then and there is no mention of Khan repeating such a performance. Pakistan: A Personal History is a 2011 book written by Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan and former cricketer.

I have now just finished reading a book by Imran which combines Pakistan’s history with Khan’s own story.Controversial case of Imran’s affair with Sita White is sensitively not protracted as I was expecting. Imran’s philanthropy in book is adverted towards foundation of integrity and prosperity with the qualities in Imran has been assembled. Published by Harper Collins, comprised of 402 pages and 10 very interesting chapters, Sandford’s pen proved no ink miscarriage or bleaking malfunction as the man in limelight was properly life-summarized. I felt that people knew nothing about Pakistan but that it is considered to be one of the most dangerous places on Earth. A must-read for anyone interested in the intrigue of politics in the most dangerous country on earth” (The Sunday Times)Read the unique insider’s view of a country unfamiliar to a Western audience, seen through the eyes of the man set to become Pakistan’s new Prime Minister.

In November 1974, the Cricketer International published an article about the new elite group of young talented players, "into concepts like fashion and pop music," and bent on challenging cricket's eternal stereotypes.I would suggest to re produce this audio book with either Imran reading himself, or a Pakistani narrating this book some one like Zia Mohyeddin. Now with the revelation that Pakistan has been the hiding place of Osama bin Laden for several years, that relationship can only grow more strained. Brazenly accusing his opponents with unprecedented levels of corruption, Imran’s party has gone from being a novice presence to one of the most defiant voices in the parliament’s opposition benches. Imran Khan, former cricket celebrity, philanthropist and turned politician, seems to have changed the decorum of Pakistan’s botched-up political landscape. Imran Khan shares his expertise on various aspects of the game, including batting, bowling, and leadership, empowering readers to enhance their skills and develop a deeper understanding of cricket.

I would have imagined the choice of narrator to be some one who has some background in the politics of sub continent so that he can pronounce the names properly. Signed by the author and in overall near fine condition, this is a large glossy book filled with many colourful photographs as Imran Khan explores Pakistan. Not only do they covet foreign aid money, which they then siphon off, they also ape the West and do not subscribe to the values which Pakistan’s founders had espoused. It is a very personal history Imran reminisces fondly about his privileged upbringing in Pakistan and his higher education in Oxford. If India had done away with all English language schools, yours truly would not be posting this piece on Winnowed and Khan would not have written Pakistan: A Personal History in English if Pakistan had done away with all its English language schools.
