About this deal

On November 9, the anniversary of a house fire that left Fallon scarred and destroyed her acting career, Fallon meets her father, Donovan O’Neil, for lunch to tell him she is moving to New York. Ben hears her father criticizing her decision and telling her she no longer has the looks to have an acting career. Ben interrupts their lunch and pretends to be Fallon’s boyfriend. He argues that Donovan should support Fallon’s attempts to return to acting. After Donovan leaves, Ben and Fallon spend the rest of the day together. They discover that they do have a mutual attraction, but Ben encourages Fallon to go to New York anyway.

Honestly, I felt conflicted about what my rating should be for a while because the writing was still very good and the plot kept me intrigued, but Ben was just so horrible (for reasons I will explain later in detail) and I was not happy with the way this ended, so I couldn't in good conscience give it more that one star. She meets his two brothers – Ian and Kyle. She also meets Jordyn, Kyle’s fiance. The two of them catch up on each other’s lives. Ben has read many romance novels upon Fallon’s request and Fallon has attended acting auditions as per Ben’s request.that's it. this is the last colleen hoover book i'm reading. people keep recommending her books going "oh this one's different from her other ones" and i keep falling for it but it ends up being the exact same. On the fourth November 9th, Ben brings his nephew, Oliver, to meet Fallon. Fallon is heartbroken when she realizes that Ben and Jordyn are a couple. What is cute about Ben? Why do you all like about him? Explain it? Is it because he keeps going on about her panties? Are we into that? I genuinely want to know. At the Seventeenth Council of Toledo, Egica, a king of the Visigoths of Hispania, accuses Jews of aiding Muslims, sentencing all Jews to slavery. Fallon used to be a teen actress, until one day an unfortunate fire causes her face and body to be scarred, limiting her opportunities in the acting world. Ben is an aspiring writer in college who hopes to one day publish a book.

Fallon’s mother reads it and convinces her to read it. It explains that Ben’s mother committed suicide, and he blamed it on Fallon’s father, Donovan, who was dating her at the time and had broken up with her. So, Ben set fire to Donovan’s car, which spread to the house where Fallon was staying. When a fire started, Fallon was rescued but had to undergo critical surgery as most of the left-side of her face and body had serious burns from the fire. At this point I stopped taking notes because shit was happening every paragraph but here’s the rest of what I remember I went into this story completely blind without knowing anything other than what the blurb said and knowing the fact that it was a standalone. My personal recommendation is that you do the same thing. Try not to read anything about the plot and just dive right into the story! As such, I’m not going to talk about the storyline at all here — this is a spoiler-free review — and instead, I’m only going to share the blurb:The anniversary of the fire that horribly burned and scarred Fallon’s entire left side. The fire that caused her to lose her role as the lead in a hit TV show and ruined her dreams of becoming an star actress. The next morning, Fallon finds the manuscript Ben has been working on. She learns that it is Ben who started the fire that Fallon was involved in. Fallon decides to visit Ben at his home instead, and Ben could not be more glad. Ben finally is able to cry and mourn over his dead brother. We also learn that Jordyn, Kyle’s wife is pregnant and due in a couple of months.
