I had grown tired to the point of giving up on finding an OEM Xbox 360 controller that wasn`t trashed or cost a ridiculous amount of money. s hope the PlayStation converter aka Wingman XE will get the XB2 treatment in the near future and I? So why am I going on this weird tangent when I should be talking about Brook Gaming’s newest controller converter, the Wingman XB2? Huge thanks go out to Brook Designs for provisioning us with a review unit of the Wingman XB2 Controller Cross-Platform Converter.

While more Xbox-centric than some controller adapters on the market, it surprised me with its overall compatibility, stability, and performance. So I was pleased to see that the Xbox One controller I was testing with this Wingman XB2 adapter worked absolutely perfectly with the Xbox 360. The other remarkable feature that sets it apart is being able to use the Xbox 360 controllers on newer consoles. Use your PS5 wireless / Wii/Wii-U Controller, Wiimote, Taiko Drum, NS Pro Controller, Joy-Con, PS4 Wireless Controller on NS/PS4 consoles!With that nerve wracking mystery solved, I was finally able to pop the converter onto my devices and see how well it ran. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. I compared this with a MayFlash Magic-NS I previously purchased on my own (which converts controllers to work on PC, Switch, and some other mini systems like the PlayStation and NeoGeo Mini) and it could handle those, so I have to give the nod to MayFlash there.

The Wingman XB2 is the next generation of this converter and it adds additional support for 22 controllers. Now, with the help of this Wingman XB2, I can now play two-player fighting games with both of my fight sticks! Switch Pro/PS3/PS4 to PS Classic/PS2 Super Converter lets you use your Switch Pro/ PS3/PS4/ PS5 controllers to play games on PS2、PS1 and PS Classic. Well, they will still work, but you have to plug those ones in with a cable, as they don’t run on bluetooth technology.

That should work, although I haven’t tested it as I don’t get paid enough to to be able to justify a fight stick. After completing the connection according to the instructions of the Wired Connection, remove the USB cable, and then wake up the PS3 / PS4 / Switch Pro wireless controller.

The PDP Afterglow Deluxe Wireless Controller worked well, but the wired version that we also reviewed did not. I was also able to dig out my old Xbox 360 and hook it up once again, and many prefer the feel of the newer One or Series controllers.
