About this deal

I mean, I expect this to still be somewhere between a 30% – 40% discount. bit no matter which way you slice it, you;re paying the bulk here for terrain pieces. Which is what Kill team is very much about.

If I were to create a symmetric Incursion board with this terrain for competitive play, it might look something like this:

Now that we’ve seen the price for the box itself, and the previous releases of the teams, we have a pretty good idea of what everything inside will add up to. This set also has a decent amount of terrain, so it could be a good value. This isn’t my ideal table layout by any means, and I generally think that these buildings aren’t amazingly suited for competitive play, but you can cobble something workable together with only a little bit of effort. Narrative Play and Modeling

Nachmund, much like Chalnath, is a little sparse in terms of gaming aids and accessories. There are no range rulers, no dice, and no tokens in the box, so you’ll need to source these elsewhere if you want to play a game with the Nachmund box. The Power Relay Substation gives players the option of performing the Salvage Power Core action, which can net you an extra CP on a 3+. The war in Chalnath isn’t over (probably, anyway – that’s how things tend to go in the 41st millennium) but Kill Team is moving on to the Nachmund sector, leaving behind the T’au Empire and the Adepta Sororitas in favour of two new teams – the Chaos Space Marine Legionaries and the Aeldari Voidscarred Corsairs. It’s a big, big box; thanks to GW for sending us a copy, now let’s see what’s inside! Credit: Warhammer Community A few things are going up about 10% (e.g. books, scenery, resin miniatures), and there are a couple of outliers (e.g. Blood Bowl teams and metal miniatures) which are going up around 20%. Warhammer Community – 09th February 2022 The Voidscarred suffer from the same malady as the Legionary Operatives: a lot of parts in a lot of places.Given that the contents of Chalnath and Nachmund are very similar, we can safely assume this formula will likely be carried across into future Kill Team expansions, so buyers will be safe in the knowledge that they are making a reasonable saving of around 30% when buying a complete box instead of all the individual parts separately. So whether you play Kill Team (Nachmund) or not, this could have value. However, if you don’t need the terrain, there isn’t a ton of value for just the miniatures! If you toned down some of the grimdark elements by shaving off some of the skulls, you could even make use of this set with other skirmish and roleplay systems. This doesn’t come with the core Kill Team rules book, but still good to at least get something with it. I think the comparison is fair, but we could be looking at a little more for the Guardians overall. Kill Team Nachmund Terrain Value
