My copy has “DMM SPI -“ in the runouts, not “DMM SP1 SPI -“ (with the double “SP1”) as mentioned in the other entry. But it definitely doesn’t have a “(u)” as this one here. (ASCAP) except: I'm normally not a fan of colored vinyl but the green is in style with the album and looks very good. A Tribe Called Quest's Midnight Marauders was commercially successful, artistically adept, and lyrically inventive; the album cemented their status as alternative rap's prime sound merchants, authors of the most original style since the Bomb Squad first exploded on wax. LP is nice and heavy too and the sound is pretty great all around. I also own a reissue from 2015 that sounds terrible compared to this.

mine sounds pretty great. those complaining about surface noise might not realize that much of what they’re hearing is from the source material- not due to the pressing.At first there was a lot of pressure, because everybody was so gung-ho about the Low End album, and that came out ‘91. Obviously, that’s a two-year wait, so there was a lot of pressure like, 'Can they do it again?’ Q-Tip is really hands on, Tip is a genius, so by the time he was finished sequencing the album, I was lookin' at him sayin, ‘Yo, b, we did it again.’
