About this deal
Chicken House) The Mumbai Sun might be printing every morning from the railway station, but Saif has trouble. It’s a fantastic independent book seller that will actually be responsive and select appropriate books for you. You guys were so fab and Dawn was such a lovely presence in the schools - I will absolutely be in touch next time I'm in your neck of the woods. Finding an abandoned printing press, he and his friends Saif, Vinod, Yasmin and Jai create their own newspaper: The Mumbai Sun.
Getting to Jaipur is just the beginning – because waiting for them is an opponent with a terrifying ambition. It seems the printing press upon which he prepares Ajay’s news is time consuming, elderly and on its last legs. I love the optimism and pluck of Ajay and his band of friends and their refusal to let anything stand in their way. Then again, isn’t this industry what unites them and gives them purpose in each of their individual ways?
Ajay chased it down, ducking past the railway guard blowing his whistle, around a woman in a midnight-blue sari glittering with tiny mirrors, and through two boys, playing with plastic rockets, to catch it.Ajay is an incredible character and as the twists and turns of the fast-paced plot unfold in the most dramatic way you feel like you're part of this ingenious gang. After all, it seems that Mrs Surya, director of the WECU space programme understands Ajay’s struggles and seeks to support each of the team. It's a great adventure with a cast of lovely characters and I enjoyed it just as much or even more than the first one!
