About this deal

Now for 50 quid wouldn't a Parkside gasless mig be good enough to practice laying down basic welds on scrap , doing pads ect? These don't appear to be available in the UK - I wondered for a second why they were priced in Euros.... I guess they are better for the job since you can’t very well get a blob of molten metal inside your boots Just because it’s a welding thread and there anren’t many and I’m proud of her, here’s Jr welding for the first time!

Multi Welder - PARKSIDE PMSG 200 A1 (199€) TIG, MIG, MMA

But If it gives me a start so I could jump on a decent MIG and not be a total newbie it's worth it, but if they are unusable rubbish then I'll leave it alone. The topic ‘just bought a lidl flux core gasless welder for occasional use ..bad idea?’ is closed to new replies. As Sardine mentions, you have a good 3 year warranty, you have paid little more than many paid for one of the buzz box machines so yes I would say it was an ok deal. and when your learning it's a lot easier if you're not fighting the machine to produce good results. Bryan Williams the bottom line is you get what you pay for, a cheap MIG set from Lidl will not weld as nice as an expensive set from a decent manufacturer, and when your learning it's a lot easier if you're not fighting the machine to produce good results.

If you just want a no-nonsense mountain bike at an attractive price point, the Canyon Neuron AL 6 is a very good answer. you would be far better off getting a clarke 151 with a vat free offer using it on a gasless set up and then swapping to gas when funds allow it

Parkside (Lidl) Inverter Welder: Any Good? | MIG Welding Forum

Its down to the old budget but don't forget to allow for any other bits you need to use it, but as you already weld I assume its just the set you need? At home I use CO2 rather than "proper" welding gas, sure it's not as nice as the right stuff but it's perfectly okay for the part timer. Truly. The farm’s in NZ so we visit infrequently. The ‘relaxed’ approach to safety always takes some getting used to but, that said, we do always manage to adjust! 😳 Rumours that Red Bull Hardline will become a series have been roaming the internet corridors a while, so it's perhaps no surprise to have the official news: Hardline will have...I've still got the Cebora MIG I bought second hand 20 or so years ago, it doesn't get used much these days as I have a bigger better machine but it did me well for many years and it still has many years life left in it. It's not been used for a couple of years" but that makes the price negotiable, and parts appear to be available.
