About this deal

Note: if using the rear cable entry remember to insert the mains cable before mounting to the wall!

Pressac’s technology is system agnostic, the data from our sensors can be used in any way you need. There are different options to choose from, making it easy to get your data in the way that’s right for you.Step 1: Carefully remove fascia from the zappi by pressing the 2 clips located at the bottom of the unit inwards whilst pulling the fascia towards you.

As an installer, the only issues I’ve encountered with the unit are mainly WiFi connection issues, but this is the same with most EV charger points as Wifi signals do not pass through exterior walls very well. I would always recommend using a wired connection where possible with any charge point or failing that a Wifi extender installed as near to the chargepoint as possible. A zappi is installed in a garage which also has a washer and a dryer (2.5kW each). The garage has a supply of 32A coming from the main consumer unit in the house. If all appliances were on together and no limit had been set the total current would exceed the maximum supply current. By setting the Group Limit to 32A an overload will be avoided. There is an LED panel on the front of the unit which illuminates different colours depending on the charging mode. When waiting in standby it’s blue and then changes to green when an EV is plugged in and charging. The CTs can be clipped on either the Live or Neutral cable on single-phase systems. ( Note: you can only use the Live tails on the 3-phase system) Alternatively, the unit can be commissioned onto your EnOcean network manually. To do this you will need the unique EnOcean ID of the clamp and also its EnOcean Equipment Profile (EEP). The EnOcean ID and the EnOcean Equipment Profile (EEP) are printed on the product label. The Hypervolt EV charger measures 328mm x 243mm x 101mm. This is smaller than chargers such as the Andersen A1 and Myenergi Zappi. The depth is only 101mm makes the Hypervolt quite slimline in comparison with most chargers. What’s in the box?

So, yes I’m looking for the same solution although I’m a little further on that you are. I have an rs485 transparent wireless link kit. You can configure them as point to point but I have them set to connect to my UniFi wireless network which already has a handful of APs. Battery systems that charge directly from the solar array and cannot charge from AC are usually referred to as being DC coupled or Hybrid. This type of battery system uses the solar PV inverter to provide power from the batteries, thus it is not possible to differentiate between solar and battery power when using a CT to measure the AC current from the inverter. Step 4: There are 4 possible cable entry positions, carefully decide which one you are going to use from the below image. You will need an IP65 or above rated cable gland. Carefully drill the hole into the unit to match the size of your cable gland. Attach cable gland ensuring IP rating is met.If there is a need to extend the CT cable, twisted-pair cable such as CAT5 must be used. DO NOT use mains cable, bell wire or speaker cable. It is important to use only twisted-pair cable to maintain signal integrity. Up to four CT cables can be extended using the separate twisted pairs in a CAT5 Ethernet cable. The cable can be extended up to 100m. The downside to the earth rods is they can be time-consuming to install and also look really unsightly on the front of a property. This is where PEN fault detection comes into play as it constantly monitors the incoming supply. In the event of a supply fault, the Hypervolt will stop charging preventing potential harm. This feature comes as standard on the Hypervolt meaning a simple installation every time. Automatic load management

The small, energy-harvesting devices use ultra-low power wireless and battery-less technology making them easy to install and very low maintenance. They simply clip around a cable and the wireless transmitter attaches outside the panel for reliable wireless data transmission. They can easily be fitted inside a machinery panel, distribution panel or other suitable location. There is a 5-metre tethered lead as standard which can be upgraded to 7.5 or 10 metres if required. The harvi does not need batteries or a power supply – the energy from the sensor is harvested and used to transmit the measured signal to the zappi or eddi. This means batteries or electrical wirings are eliminated! There is an option to add other CT sensors (available separately) for monitoring the generation or other appliances such as battery systems or general loads. Installing a CT for the generator (PV system or wind) will allow the main screen to show the generated power and the total power consumption of all the other appliances in the property. The distance between inverter and power meter is some 30m, as the inverter/PV is in/on a detached garage at the bottom of the garden. The Hypervolt app has a really simple interface, especially when setting charging schedules. Multiple sessions can be timed to coincide with your cheap rate electricity tariff such as Octopus’s Go EV charging tariff. Alternatively, a ‘plug and charge’ mode can be set. Treveansalt/green_graham - If either of you got the ISR-W610 or the Lora Wireless modems working I'd be very interested to hear about it, but in the meantime I'll press on and will post here if I'm successful. Transmit data wirelessly and securely – using AES-128 encryption – via EnOcean wireless protocol, which uses internationally approved, licence-free ISM bands The CT clamp is hard-wired to the Hypervolt via a separate cable or a combined power and data cable like Doncaster Cables EV Ultra can be used. This makes installation more aesthetically pleasing as only a single cable is used.
