About this deal

V. (“Whiskybase”, “we” or “us”, company details below) offers a whisky enthusiasts online platform that provides its members access to the most comprehensive, transparent and trusted resource of whisky bottles and allows and stimulates its members to contribute information about whisky bottles to the platform (“Service”). We may, but are not under any obligation, to release new functionalities and tools or other features for the Service every now and then.

Any new functionalities, tools and features shall be part of and governed by the Terms from the moment they are launched and/or available. The Bunnahabhain Toiteach A Dhà has a touch of smoke in our peated malted barley whisky, introduced during its creation and combined with a higher sherry influence, this special bottling offers the connoisseur an opportunity to try something truly unique and beguiling in nature. Our packaging is eco-conscious: 100% recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable internal fittings made from recycled materials. Bunnahabhain führt hier keine Kältefiltration durch, was positiv auf den Geschmack und die Öligkeit auswirkt. Unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise, your use of and membership to the Service are exclusively governed by Dutch law.The deep mahogany colour of this 18 year old whisky gives away the sherry cask maturation whilst the tang of salt on the tongue reminds you of our coastal location. Unusually for an Islay single malt, our 18 year old is unpeated, allowing the sweet coastal character of our island to shine through. Please always read the labels, warnings, and directions provided with the product before using or consuming a product. Many vigorously hyped whiskies barely justify the SRP, never mind any markup above (or multiple of) that ask. Prepare to be enveloped in a truly warming experience, where the harmonious blend of dried fruits, sherry notes, luscious toffee, and an array of spices takes centre stage.

The other is a far more heavily peated expression, therefore creating a more traditional Islay style. Most of Bunnahbhain’s spirits are unpeated, and those that do come with peat are generally really lightly peated.

V. is the Dutch private limited liability company, having its statutory seat in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and its office at Zwaanshals 530, 3035 KS Rotterdam, The Netherlands. It is intensely warming; with dried fruit, sherry, toffee and spices leading to a rich honeyed nuttiness and the slightest hint of sea salt. There are fans of the “Bunna” worldwide but, truth be told, it’s not really a nut that I’ve been able to crack. When tasted, these scents combine with a toffee flavour, along with caramel, orange, cinnamon, and pepper, making this a really enjoyable and mellow tasting experience.

Bunnahabhain's whiskies showcase a softer, more approachable nature, with a focus on the underlying malt flavors and the influence of the sea. The less… shall we say… “socially inclined” among you will blanche at the suggestion that making friends is the most enriching way to get your hands on desirable drams. The Bunnahabhain distillery is known for its connection to the sea, as the distillery is situated in a remote area on the Islay coast.

In 2021, Master Distiller, Stephanie Macleod, handpicked Cote Rotie red wine casks from the Rhône Valley. Nose: starts on caramel, honey and a mild spiciness, developing mostly on orange blossom water, pastries, croissant au beurre and a faint Irishness (ripe bananas). Our Bunnahabhain 18 year whisky is non-chill filtered and natural colour, this rich mahogany malt is one of the Bunnahabhain family favourites. Founded in 1883 by the Islay Distillers Co this single malt from Islay is less peaty than some of the Islay malts.
