About this deal

I feel like they were a lot of stalling and focuses more on their past and relationship growth, which is very much appreciated, but I wanted more in the plot and romance department. The only plus I can give it is that the OP drama wasn't as big as in her other books and the hero is not a manwhore. Oaths and Omissions” is a modern masterpiece, a powerful novel that can be read on its own. This novel is written by Sav R. Miller. She is a true storyteller, and Oaths and Omissions is her best book. It’s an epic tale of family, secrets, loss, marriage, betrayal, friendships, laughter, and regrets. Oaths and Omissionsis a heartfelt novel written with compassion and hope, reconciling the past to pave a road to happiness and second chances. The characters in this novel bring life and heart to this story, each with a distinct voice and personality. They made reader love them, they made reader sad, they made reader angry, they made reader laugh, they made reader cry, and they made reader believe in the promise of love and home. I wished there would've been more insight into Riley's past, considering how much it played a part in the story. However, I admired Riley's strength and felt for her and what she's gone through.

I could NOT put this book down!!! I didn’t expect to love it even more than the first book, which is one of my favorite types of retellings. This was so heavy on the feels, the obsession, the anger, the hurt, the lust. Holy! Uuuggh, while I loved this, I really really wanted more from Jonas and Lenny. I really loved the two of them together, and separately. Jonas is perfectly cold and murderous, and Lenny is fierce and feisty. I really enjoyed their story. There was fake dating, touch her & D!e vibes, possessive alpha. It had everything I love.even though i loved the couple, cough cough, jones wolfe, i found the whole book boring. i kept waiting for the shoe to drop but nothing happened. it was all at the same exact pace. there wasn’t a peak there wasn’t anything. there wasn’t any sexual tension between them. they just got together. even though i loved how wolfe communicated, it wasn’t enough to make me love him more than kal. even the subplot happening with her past was so obvious and just ugh idk i'm very underwhelmed. i didn't set any high expectation for this book but its still disappointing. Sav’s Monsters & Muses series honestly just keeps getting better and better with each new installment. I think Jonas is my new favorite of her heroes in this series. I might even be enough of a Jonas simp to add him to my book bf hall of fame. You could,” she concedes, even as she puts more distance between us. Reaching the door to the stairwell, she grips the knob in one hand and twists, pushing it open. “But that’s not why you came here tonight, is it?” I think what I was missing was a level of depth to the FMC coming to terms with her trauma. That is really my only complaint because we did get glimpses but I felt like something was missing in the end. He ✨ cums in her lotion✨ when he was stalking her so he can leave something to make her all anxious about someone being in her house.

I really enjoyed getting the little pieces of precious chargers from the series. The plot kept me hooked the entire time (clearly- I chose it over a night of sleep). The slow burn romance / tension was divine and when it hit? IT HIT HOT! Hard truths? Yes - but as I said, also refreshing. It is fantastic when an author can help you connect to characters through their personalities and body types. It is a gift when they can help you connect with a character through their mental health. I want to start with Riley - the invisible girl. The one ignored. The one that thought, "You tiptoe around people just to avoid upsetting them, because it's easier than admitting to yet another of your shortcomings."

For every question you get wrong, or you don’t answer, or that just generally pisses me off, I’ll slide this blanket down until your dignity ceases to exist. Got it?” This is a story of two parts and is a darker contemporary romance inspired by the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. I did enjoy this but not as much as the previous book which I loved. Aidan just wasn’t a hit with me I never warmed to him. Firstly he took everything on surface value without digging any deeper. I am aware he was an anti-hero but that wasn’t really my issue I love a good baddie but Aidan just rubbed me the wrong way and he was so indecisive over his own intentions and for someone who had previously been plagued by a SA scandal he was surprisingly blasé now about crossing that particular line. His stated intentions of clearing his name also didn’t quite line up with his actions here and a lot of their beef could have easily been cleared up by an actual conversation.
