About this deal

Colour defines our world; it is the fabric, hue and texture of our emotions, ideas and dreams. It is the unique signature of all forms of matter. A world without colour can be lifeless. Colour is the most powerful tool of expression; it can convey feeling and emotion; colour can create a mood, evoke emotion and help communicate with others. We need to express ourselves through colours. Without colour, there is no beauty.

In the same way, every individual is different but together we form a community. The typical ‘norm’ within that community suggests we more readily accept people who are of different height, build, hair style, size of feet, temperament and so on. Isn’t it weird that we don’t then accept people who are of different personal identities? To increase awareness of the impact of colour in our everyday lives, the AIC established International Colour Day (ICD), which falls on the March Equinox, to celebrate the full spectrum of colour around the world. For more than a decade, the AIC members have been taking ownership of the ICD, hosting hundreds of colour events worldwide. A world without colour is a world with no meaning. Colour is the only thing that makes me feel alive.

Let us help you

Wherever colour is key to understanding the story, we make sure it is made obvious in more than one way. For instance, red stop signs are a different shape from green go signs.

It's all about controlling the amounts of red, green and blue light. What's the Deal With This Misconception? Colour is a powerful thing. It can take you to the heights of ecstasy or the depths of depression, but it is something we live with every day. If you are colour blind, it does not mean the world is colourless. We can see the colourful world in the eyes of people who do not see it. Colour is a journey without end. Where there’s no colour, there’s no feeling. Where there’s no feeling, there’s no emotion. Where there’s no emotion, you’re dead, not alive. A world without colour is indeed a world without a soul. Don’t be one who would rather live in a world without colour because the richness and vibrancy of life make the beauty in this world.

Colours of today and the future

Colour is a language. Colour is more than just a colour. It’s a story, it’s an emotion, and it’s a moment. A world without colour is a boring world. It’s easy to see why there are so many colours worldwide. It’s hard to imagine a world without them. We can all enjoy their vivid hues. Color (American English) or colour (British English) is the characteristic of human visual perception described through color categories, with names such as red, blue, yellow, green, orange, or purple…

Continents, oceans, countries, populations all come in distinct shapes and sizes, but integrating these variations and differences into a single entity forms a world that is immeasurably more interesting, diverse and uplifting.

Colors play a significant role in our daily lives, influencing our emotions, perceptions, and even decision-making processes. They have the ability to evoke distinct feelings and create visual interest, making the understanding of colors essential for various fields, including art, design, and marketing. Orange represents warmth, creativity, and enthusiasm. Different hues and saturation levels include: Well, partly because they are incorrectly taught this from their first days at school," Westland says. "But also because it seems intuitive. It seems intuitive because people believe the following: 1) That it is possible to make all colours by mixing together three primaries, and 2) That the primaries are pure colours that cannot be made by mixing other colours."
