About this deal

Celebrating its 25th anniversary this very year is the prescient and brilliant The Truman Show, a film that unwittingly arrived even as the reality TV era was being concocted behind closed doors at the [. However, during an exhibition match, Rocky’s friend Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) is mercilessly beaten to death by hulking Russian newcomer Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren). I'm sure after we've all bought Rocky I-IV, a boxset including V and Balboa will conveniently be released. Hopefully it gets a good remaster, Warner has at least delivered some good UHD releases lately it seems.

Dialog is clean for both tracks with an active sound design giving dialog and active sequences plenty of attention. Rocky Blu-ray), this is actually an older montage of less interesting clips introduced by Avildsen that's we've seen countless times before.there's thankfully no modernization of its colors, which is certainly more than enough reason to count this transfer as another in the "win" column. Facial features, Thunder Lips’ mustache, Clubber’s mohawk, Rocky’s high hair pseudo mullet, the whole show offers up strong striking details with a healthy naturally cinematic grain structure. As Archer tries to use his disguise to elicit information about a bomb from Troy’s brother, Troy awakes from a coma and forces the doctor who performed the surgery to give him Archer’s face. T) KOs Rocky in a humiliating defeat, it becomes apparent that the “Italian Stallion” has lost his edge. With Creed’s help, Rocky strives to regain the “eye of the tiger” before confronting Lang in a grueling rematch!

Description: Having become the world heavyweight champion, former working-class boxer Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) is rich and famous beyond his wildest dreams, which has made him lazy and overconfident. After club fighter Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) goes the distance with the world heavyweight champion, boxing fans clamor for a rematch. The audience is brought along with him, during his training, during his friendships, during his loving, we are running up those stairs to the Philadelphia Art Museum right along side him, and we too start to believe. The incredibly fancy (and, truth be told, a little more expensive) Steelbook format is the only choice for those needing a physical media release that doubles as a table tennis bat in a pinch. These are clear highlights because the film’s natural palette is towards the dour, being stark and cold, this too comes across well. Confessing his doubts to his lover, in perhaps the single most heartfelt scene in the whole picture, Rocky gathers himself and sets his goal and with it the audience's resolve. There is a tremendous amount on detail on show, from skin texture, sweat, clothing weaves, sinew and fat on cow carcasses, boxing posters, dirt and grime, peeling paintwork etc.

As fans will no doubt already know, this one is a real cult cinema gem, and it sounds like the 4K release is pretty fantastic, including terrific video and audio quality, as well as a great new feature-length documentary on the making of the film by Daniel Griffith’s Ballyhoo Motion Pictures. Looking through that pitch issue, levels are spot on and each track is nicely engaging in its own way. Note that we have no other details at this time, but we’d expect an official announcement from the studio very soon. However, one odd glitch occurs during Rocky IV that's worth a mention: soon after the 10-minute mark, the 1. a sense of déjà vu, including Bill Conti's familiar music, but there's enough good material here for Rocky II to stand up on its own two feet.

The Ultra HD Blu-ray will include an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc with each feature film in 4K with HDR, a bonus Blu-ray disc with the documentary and a selection of pre-existing special features, and a Digital version of the feature films.Meanwhile, Creed is still smarting from nearly losing to some palooka no one has ever heard of, and arrogantly prods his newfound nemesis into getting back into the ring. Unfortunately, we got five sequels during the next 30 years -- not even counting the ongoing Creed saga -- but hey, that's how business is done, folks. For more about Rocky: The Knockout Collection 4K and the Rocky: The Knockout Collection 4K Blu-ray release, see Rocky: The Knockout Collection 4K Blu-ray Review published by Randy Miller III on March 3, 2023 where this Blu-ray release scored 2. Top of the box office charts for 2023, and by some distance, is The Super Mario Bros Movie, the spiritual successor to the 1993 live action version. It’s not softness that can be compensated with a volume shift, dialog, music cues, or sound effects simply sound lower than before and just not quite natural.
